The MU Student AI Use Scale Resource Kit includes resources to support consistent implementation of the Student AI Use Scale across courses.

Student-facing resources

Resources labeled "Students" include the scale along with guidance and resource links tailored to students. Here are some ways they can be used in your courses:

  1. MU  Student AI Use Scale (Students) | Word Version presents the scale as a simple, colorful table that can be added to digital or print syllabi, course materials and handouts.
  2. MU Student AI Use Scale (Students) | PowerPoint Version displays the scale as a visual organizer that can be shared as an attachment or a link, or incorporated into presentation slides.
  3. MU Student AI Use Scale (Students) | PDF is a PDF version of Item 2 with improved accessibility features.

Instructor-facing versions

Resources labeled "Instructors" can be used for communication within or across academic units.

  1. MU Student AI Scale Canvas Pages describes two Canvas pages that are available to instructors in Canvas Commons. It provides instructions for importing the pages into a course site.
  2. MU Student AI Use Scale (Instructors) | Word Version is the same as the student version, with a resource link for instructors.
  3. MU Student AI Use Scale (Instructors) | PowerPoint Version is the same as the student version, with a resource link for instructors.
  4. MU Student AI Use Scale (Instructors) | PDF is an accessible PDF version of Item 3.
