Whether you are a seasoned instructor or new to online teaching, you know that there’s an endless amount of information about how you can enhance the online experience for your students. But how do you know where to start? Or where to go next?

For new instructors, we have developed a Bootcamp. The courses include the same content as our standard courses but consolidate all our offerings in a one-week time frame in an order that will maximize your learning. You can take all or just a portion of the courses. Take a look at our Bootcamp courses on our Training Events page. Search for Bootcamp and register for any or all courses.

The Missouri Online team has developed a series of short courses (about one hour in length) to help you master the many tools available to you. No matter what step you are ready to take, we have something for you! Courses include:

  • Canvas Overview
  • Canvas Assignments, Quizzes and Grades
  • Canvas Peer Review and Group Assignments
  • Canvas Grades
  • Zoom
  • Panopto
  • Advanced Panopto
  • VoiceThread
  • Turnitin
  • Smarter Proctoring
  • iClicker
  • Pressbooks
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365

If you aren’t able to participate in all classes during Bootcamp, or just need a refresher, you can take advantage of our robust training schedule throughout the semester. Soon, we will also be offering our training on demand through a series of videos. If none of these options work for you, we are always available to meet one-on-one via Zoom to review any topics you would like to discuss.
