Fall Instructor Bootcamp
Register today for the Fall 2024 Missouri Online instructor bootcamp being held next week Monday, Aug. 5, to Friday, Aug. 9. Our bootcamps are intended for both new and experienced instructors.

If you’re short on time and need a firmer grasp of classroom technology before the beginning of the fall semester, our Canvas Super Sessions (Aug. 14–15) offer a chance to receive a Canvas overview that includes essential information about Canvas assignments, quizzes, and grading.
UDOIT Accessibility Tool in Canvas
Did you miss the news? UDOIT is available in Canvas to help you check for digital accessibility barriers, and now you and your students can download alternate versions of Canvas files. See Understanding UDOIT to get started. If you’d like a hands-on practice opportunity, attend our upcoming Accessibility Bootcamp on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 11:00 a.m.
Help Hours Extended Aug. 12–27
Beginning Aug. 12, the Academic Technology team will expand their phone and chat hours. Staff members will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer your questions via phone, chat and email. Staff will also answer emails in the evenings and on weekends Aug. 12–27. BlackBeltHelp will continue to be available via phone outside our standard business hours. Honorlock has Replaced SmarterProctoring
As a reminder, Honorlock has replaced SmarterProctoring as our new proctoring solution. Honorlock protects exam integrity with a combination of live proctors and AI tools. They offer 24/7 support to test takers and instructors.
Honorlock is now available in Canvas. Registration for training is currently open, with several options available. If these times do not work for you, we encourage you to schedule a one-on-one consultation. Please take a look at our documentation on Teaching Tools for more information.
Harmonize and Kritik Pilots Extended to Dec. 31
If you are interested in trying Harmonize or Kritik in the fall, the tools will be made available through Dec. 31.
- Harmonize is a discussion board tool that weaves rich multimedia, student milestones, reactions and tagging, annotations and an assistive prompt writer incorporating ChatGPT.
Kritik facilitates online peer-to-peer assessment of student work, allowing students to learn from their peers, adapt and improve their work and gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
