Zoom Whiteboards Update in Canvas
Zoom Whiteboards will be easier to use through Canvas when updates are released over spring break. When accessing Zoom in Canvas, users will see a Whiteboards tab at the top of the screen. Using Zoom Whiteboards through Canvas will create a course folder for all of your shared whiteboards. Students will have view access to that folder so they can review the whiteboards, giving them one more way to review your lecture content. Students can also leave comments on the whiteboard if they have additional questions, but will not be able to edit the content on the boards.
Summer and Fall Course Support
Did you just find out you’re teaching an online course for the first time? Do you have to dust off an old version of a course you taught online years ago? Are you inheriting a course template from another instructor? Are you feeling like you need new inspiration for teaching online? We’re here to help! The design team at Missouri Online can provide as much support as you need. We can help you in all online teaching aspects, including increasing instructor presence, providing more regular and substantive interaction, crafting more engaging assignments and activities, making the course visually appealing and more intuitive and much more.

UMSL Teaching Conference Call for Proposals

If you’d like to participate, please submit a proposal using this form: https://forms.gle/ktnTEhKP31iryq6cA.
