In our latest faculty spotlight, Anandhi Upendran discusses the Biomedical Entrepreneurship Training Program for Aging (BETA), which is a National Institute of Aging (NIA/NIH) funded training program administered at the University of Missouri. The program is designed to merge the areas of biomedical science and entrepreneurship with a keen focus on aging.
Spring Instructional Design Webinars

Instructional designers, instructional technologists and faculty guests will present ideas and practices related to online teaching and learning (design, assessment, community and/or inclusion) and innovative areas such as artificial intelligence. Call for Proposals: Teaching Showcase Series
As we plan future webinars and content, we invite UM System instructors to contribute as presenters and authors to our website’s blogs and articles. This is a unique opportunity for instructors teaching in any mode to share insights, experiences and practices related to digital or online education with the university community. See our new Call for Proposals: Digital Teaching Showcase Series, including the submission form. Submit a proposal for a blog or article at any time. If proposing a webinar for Summer 2024, please submit by March 1. For Fall 2024, submit by June 1.

Apply to be a Faculty Peer Reviewer
Missouri Online is looking for faculty to serve as peer reviewers for Quality Course Reviews. Full- and part-time faculty at any of the four University of Missouri campuses are invited to apply; training is provided. Reviewers are paid a stipend of $100 per credit hour of the course reviewed (e.g., a review of a 3-credit-hour course is $300).
